Full Metal Alchemist Fanfiction
I have been brainstorming and i got a general idea what it's going to be about, in this post i'm just going to tell you who the people are, and where in the anime storyline it takes place for anyone that is familiar with the show, and during the story i will stop and give some information about any new people (that's why i love fanfiction, it's like your a story you made, with someone else characters, so stress relieving!) Anyways let us start with the characters and then the anime general plot major details.
(For those that know and have watched through the anime, this story takes place somewhere between when Ed becomes a state alchemist and when they found the P stone.)

Edward (Ed) Elric
Current age in this story: 13
Appearance: For a headshot...look at avatar, if that is changed, here it is.
He is pretty buff for a 13 year old, i mean six pack and strong. But still has great agility.
He has "auto-mail" for his right arm and left leg, aka metal, but still look and work like human ones, except they are metal. More on that later.
Personality: Alot of one, to say the least, but let me describe it. Edward is very determined, he will stop at nothing to get what he needs, but he will help anyone that needs it along the way of his journey. He is still very immature, he tends to have a quick temper when insulted and when the time is right, can prove to be violent. On the flip side, he knows that he is a powerful alchemist, and he doesn't brag.....often. He is very brave and knows what needs to be done, but sometimes he needs to stop for a break, and lays back for a bit. He can be extremely lazy at times without much motivation, but if you need him, he will pull through for you.
History: I'm going to kill two birds with one stone and do both the brothers at the same time in a bit.
Alphonse (Al) Elric
Current age:10? (not sure when his b-day is)
Appearance:
After "accident" (will be explained in history)
BTW the suit of armor is empty.
Personality: Even though his suit of armor is empty, he is still easily scared, and has a big heart. He cares for every little plant stepped on and every homeless cat. He can easily overpower things with his bulky suit, and even though he has no muscles, he is somehow very very VERY strong. He follows his brother, and has a sense of justice. He has to keep his distance from people, because if they found out he was empty, he would be in deep crap. (why explained in history) When it comes to fighting, he is against it, but he can if he needs too.
History on brothers: *takes breath* When the boys were young, they found their father's alchemy books, but their father was gone.(But still alive) They grew up in a small rural town with their mother. They learned the ways of alchemy, but one day their mother died of a long term illness, the boys were shocked, they were deeply attached to her, and now she was dead, so they took the book of forbidden alchemy and wanted to bring her back. It had never been done before, but they wanted to try it anyways. This is the "Accident" Human alchemy is looked down on and is illegal. They gathered all the components of a human body, but they still had to somehow get her soul back from the grave. They were clueless, and they didn't give anything more then that then a few drops of their own blood for the soul. Big mistake. They used all their power, and made the body, but it was deformed, and lacked the soul. Once the "gate" that the soul opened before their eyes and took Ed's leg in exchange of her soul. The soul went into the monster, but it was still deformed and wasn't the mother they once knew. The leg wasn't enough to match the law, so the gate began to take Al. Working quickly, Ed sacrificed his arm and put a blood seal on the suit of armor and attached Al's soul to it. That was 2-3 years ago from my story. No longer wanting to revive their mother, they took their money left by her before she died, burnt down the house and went on a journey to find a sacred stone so they could use it's power to get their bodies back to normal. They went to the main town of the country and studied there to become state alchemists, although only ed actually went in and joined because of the physical and Al would have been found out. Because Ed went through the gate to get his brother he was giving magical power to do alchemy at will. Normally it needs special circles to do certain things, but Ed's power is that he doesn't need one, at the part of the test that he needed to show his skills, he saved someone in danger and used this power on accident, and figured out if he would clap and focus he could do what he wanted instantly. Even sense then, they have been looking for the stone, and doing side things for the military along the way.
